The Senior Software Engineer Network Automation
Job Role: The Senior Software Engineer Network Automation should have at least 5 years of experience as a software developer; A good understanding of the hosting industry, data center infrastructure and Leaseweb network related products; Will develop, maintain and support our data center automation products and drive feature development; Will be the 3rd line incident support; Will have regular on-call duty (EOD – Engineer on duty); Will be working closely with other departments at Leaseweb (for example Network Design); Will identify and propose solutions for improvements or structural problems; The responsibilities will vary from simple maintenance to complex tasks.
Tools and Languages: PHP Object Orientated Programming and frameworks (preferablySymfony); Python and Angular (Angular is an advantage); RESTful APIs; Git; Linux distributions knowledge (Ubuntu, and optionally Red Hat, Debian); IP addressing, subnetting or VLANs; Prometheus, Grafana, or Elasticsearch.
Education: Computer Science or related field.
